We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century.     It was amazing, people are friendly and warm welcoming. We were served by Shahid and he is a real gentleman. It was our marriage Anniversary and they even celebrated that at last, which was a very nice gesture! Had been in this place before and experiences are always nice!

    Lovely Time. Food Was Good. Starters was lovely. A Little Dissappointed With The Sanpei Chicken For The Main, it was bland and the chicken tasted boiled. no flavour. however the Nyonya Lamb was delicious

    Came here for my friends birthday and we were pleasantly surprised as it was our first time. The dj played really good music and the football was on, the vibe was really nice. They managed to do something cute for my friends birthday which was very appreciated! The waitress we had was very very sweet plus the food was great, I ordered the steak though I’m not a huge fan of steak and it might be the best steak I’ve had. Price range made sense but wasn’t overly expensive for 3 people. Only disappointment would be that they didn’t have the rosé wine that was listed on the menu which was disappointing as it is a pricey wine to be served a replacement but however, we loved everything and we filled up on the suggested wine and cocktails. :)
