Food amazing just hard to pick which flavour once you have favourites and want to try something differentMore infoWingboy NewtownPrice: Moderate• American• Newtown•4.6
- PPeterSydney •1 review4.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Great and very helpful staff, they sadly had to sit us on the bar, but it wasn't so bad. The drinks are heavily over priced and I would just recommend to not bother, go somewhere else for drinks in the area there are better places much cheaper to get a good cocktail. The Orange chicken was by far the best dish, which is a shame for a Bao Bun place when you think about it. The Bao Buns were ok...not great, like Ipuddo makes better ones if you really want to try some. The chicken was dry, the meat was stringy, the pork belly one i didn't even bother eating because it looked bland, and there was no real crackling on it. In the end I recommend you get their burgers and the Orange Chicken as they're far more enjoyable than the buns. Shame really. TL;DR - Drinks cost too much (common problem, not exclusive to this place) - Staff are amazing - The buns are average - Everything else on the menu is better than the buns (the irony) - Ambience is really nice too!More infoBelly BaoPrice: Moderate• Asian• Newtown•4.5
- OTOpenTable DinerLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 7, 2024We experienced the Chef’s menu paired with an all evening happy hour. Every bite of food we had was delicious and the braised lamb was one of the best I’ve ever had, falling apart at the bone. Even though the dishes are served “to share”, the portions were surprisingly big and incredibly filling. Service was outstanding the whole evening. What a wonderful little gem of a place, I look forward to returning soon!More infoThe Barrel Room by AkashaPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Leichhardt•4.7
- SSarahvipSydney •2 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 4, 2024Delicious food as always! Looks like they’ve changed their menu up a bit as there were so many new items I’d like to try in the near future. I was really disappointed with the ramen, it seems they’ve downsized, singular piece of chashu pork and not much broth anymore either. Noodles clumped together a lot more than usual, so that was a bit disappointingMore infoShinmachi NewtownPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Newtown•4.6
