Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Hawaii Kai

Alex was an excellent bartender. Cocktail menu is delicious, Alex really knows what he’s doing. Food was delicious as well. We had the Pork buns, roasted squash, and chicken and waffle. The brown butter sauce on the squash was very nicely done and added a ton of flavor. Chicken and waffle didn’t have a traditional waffle, the potato base was an excellent riff to make it a dinner entree. Hope to be back soon!

Great spot for quality beer and pub food. Roughly 20 beers on tap; all local with most from the brewery plus a couple guest taps. It’s not fine dining but the food and service are great - here on a Friday this time and can’t recommend the daily special of the brisket burger enough, it was outstanding. We were a party of five on a busy evening and all said we’d definitely come back (we’d brought three out of town guests). Highly recommended for any craft beer lovers out there!

We are supper diners and we recommend making reservations. They get busy. With reasonable expectations anything you order will be satisfying. I wouldn't say that they are a budget venue, however, fair for what you receive. They always have a chef special for steaks and seafood as well as a catch of the day entee. Their cheese and salumi platter is a great start for 4 guests with cocktails. Hope you enjoy!

We came in for a Thursdate and had a great time Brandi served us well MaiTai good Oysters and Prawns were excellent Lehua had a perfect piece of Salmon New York was cooked perfectly but a bit salt forward… Broccolini good Mushrooms a bit salt forward… C Creme Brule good Mahalo and Happy Holidays
