If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Appetizers include the Charcuterie Board that features house made cured meats and pates with seasonal mostarda and house pickles.     Portland City Grill is always a fun experience. From the 30th floor of Portland's "Big Pink" the views can be spectacular, and usually are. Over my twenty years as a resident of the Portland area I have been to Portland City many times. Actually my first date, after moving to Portland, was in the bar at Portland City Grill. I have enjoyed the restaurant with many family and friends, and they are always at the ambiance, service, food, and of course the view. I took a friend there for Thanksgiving Dinner in 2024, the restaurant had a special Thanksgiving Dinner meal, with all the fixings included. We had a wonderful view of Mount Hood. The staff provided excellent service, even with the restaurant being very busy, we still felt well cared for, and the meal was terrific.
