- AAARONDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined todayThe Golden steer is a classic steakhouse in every sense of the word. It's absolutely understandable why the who's who of Old Vegas used to frequent the golden steer! Everything from the cocktails through the meal and into dessert was first rate. Love the tableside Caesar and cherries jubilee! The steak and lobster tail were excellent. It's certainly a little spendy, but for what you get I felt like it was a wonderful value for a special evening that I will not forget. This may have been my first but will not be my last visit here!More infoGolden Steer SteakhousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Near the Strip•4.8
- SSteveVIPMinneapolis - St. Paul •96 reviews5.0Dined todayWe enjoyed our experience at Oscar’s. The atmosphere sitting in the glass dining room is what makes this place nice for us. The server was very nice just a bit slow for our preference. The steaks, sides, salads and lobster bisque soup all were excellent. I wouldn’t recommend the burger. For $24 it was overcooked and unimpressive. No joke an In-N-Out burger is much tastier. Lots of competition among steakhouses in Las Vegas. This is a legendary one but it’s not in our top 5 in town.More infoOscar's Steakhouse at the Plaza Hotel & CasinoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Plaza•4.7
- JJonathanOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoOur server was extremely nice, I sadly don’t remember his name but he had recently moved to Vegas from Florida and he made our meal a much better experience! The food was delicious and the view of the fish tank from where we were sitting was amazing! Would highly recommend the New York Strip with Chimichurri butter.More infoChart House Restaurant - Golden Nugget - Las VegasPrice: Moderate• Seafood• The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino•4.6
- CChristyCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAlways skeptical about a steakhouse, we opted to try Vic and Anthony’s on a recommendation. Had a 10:45 reservation and arrived 30 minutes early thinking we would enjoy a cocktail at the bar. To our surprise, they were able to seat us right away. Our waiter Hector was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable; providing recommendations when I was being indecisive. The wine list read like an encyclopedia and the bottle prices were very reasonable. We shared a life changing crab cake as a starter. The sauce was so incredible we soaked up the deliciousness with the homemade bread. The wedge salad was very flavorful and more than enough for two people to share. My husband ordered a ribeye which was cooked to absolute perfection and had that crust most restaurants can’t achieve without a grill. Tender and delicious!! I ordered the wagyu carpaccio which was amazing. Cut paper thin, the carpaccio was like butter. Every bite was pure perfection. We couldn’t possibly fit another bite in, but Hector wanted us to try dessert and brought us two bite sized cheesecakes which were amazing. The only ding against our experience was the table we were seated at. It was sandwiched between two four tops along the windows. We were definitely close to the folks next to us, making it feel like we were at a family dinner. Which was fine, everyone was very friendly. It made our dining experience cozy but not unpleasant. The rest of the tables appeared to be spaced out okay.More infoVic & Anthony's Steakhouse - Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino•4.8
- MMonicaVIPLas Vegas •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA very hidden gem. Yula was our server, you want his section if you go! Best. Service. Ever!! Attentive but not hovering. Friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Knew the menu like the back of his hand! We are Las Vegas locals, on a mission to try new places. Ended up with a reservation here on Valentine’s Day because Redwood was one of the few places that wasn’t fully booked and wasn’t going to be a $500 meal. Never had we stepped foot in the California Hotel casino or this restaurant. We’ve both been here a long time and never gone. Pleasantly surprised that the noise level the cleanliness and all around everything about this place. Valet was $30 but as an emerald card holder with Boyd gaming it was free for us. I had the seafood cioppino and my husband had the 12 ounce lobster tail. Market price on that was like $65 and my soup was 46 I think. It was loaded with seafood, and I had no regrets about spending that kind of price on a bowl of soup. It was really good. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM on Valentine’s Day and we were seated immediately. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. I have heard it said that you can judge a steakhouse by their creamed corn. I, personally hate creamed corn, and I was literally scraping Every last bite of it out of the dish came in. Hands-down, I recommend it and we will definitely go back. More infoRedwood SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• California Hotel & Casino•4.8
