- RRenuHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI wanted to say I loved it, but I was only happy about a few of the bites I tried. To be fair, we had reservations for outdoor on a cold evening with little children. Food was cold as soon as it was on the table. But this would have been different had we ate indoors. We tried babaganoush which was on point for flavor but lacked texture as it was creamy. I like it slightly chunky. The pita bread was soft and warm and delicious with the olive oil and balsamic. Crispy Brussels was okay, had a nice coriander flavor but lacked seasoning. Crispy eggplant dish was great on texture but the piece of eggplant inside the tempura didn't have salt. Chicken kabob was flavorful but four tiny pieces. Octopus was good but slightly rubbery. Dolma was the best of all, the best I've had. Fries were well seasoned. So it was a nice restaurant but could have been better given the price point. But service sucked, the lady didn't refill water, wasn't paying attention to us like you'd expect with fine dining places. May be im too picky, but just giving my honest review.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- MmargaretWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWent for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.More infoFounding Farmers DC: Foggy BottomPrice: Moderate• American• Foggy Bottom•4.5

Our server, Jose Luis, was very attentive and made some great drink and entree recommendations. I would definitely return here for another amazing dining experience!!More infoMi Vida, District WharfPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Southwest Waterfront•4.6
- CCynthiaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoChristmas Eve dinner at OEG is a 24-year tradition for my daughter and me. As always, the food was awesome. My daughter and I were quite surprised and disappointed by the lackluster greeting and overall experience when we walked in. The word "dismissive" comes to mind. Because our previous experiences were fabulous, I will look at this visit as a "one-off" one. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2025!!!More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- CCaraNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat atmosphere and delicious food! Almost canceled our 9:30 pm reservation but so glad we didn’t. The place was packed but the service was efficient. We had both kinds of gnocchi, vegetable frites, Caesar salad and fusilli with three kinds of meat- it was all excellent!More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
