- SSanjayVIPToronto / Ontario •35 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe go to this place once every year at Christmas time to celebrate a birthday. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th year of us going back. It is a great spot — really good food and ambience. The service was incredible — we were assisted by Jack and his service, attention to detail, demeanour, positive vibes, etc etc was unbelievably good. It was such a pleasure all evening. When he realized we were celebrating a birthday he offered a Molton chocolate cake dessert on the house even though we had paid the bill, we asked for a cocktail recipe and he hand wrote it for us. It was little gestures like this that make it memorable. It made a really good dinner to be great and for that we are very appreciative.More infoTenPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Charlottesville•4.9
- RRachaelWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoTook my mom to the Joshua Wilton House for her 60th birthday. It was the first time either of us had eaten here. All food was delicious! We had the roasted duck breast and the pan seared scallops. The duck was tender, and the scallops were made in a yummy cream sauce. The desserts were excellent as well. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The house was still decorated for Christmas, which gave it a nice ambience. We’d definitely eat there again!More infoJoshua Wilton HousePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Harrisonburg•4.8
- AAprilVirginia •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe drinks were very good. We waited at the bar until the table was ready. The Brasserie G&T was so tasty! The bartender was friendly and efficient. He was so busy, it was impressive with how quickly he was putting out drinks for the servers. I think there was only one draft beer available, but my husband was happy with the local beer that was offered. (There were many others available in cans or bottles). We were seated at a nice booth prior to the reservation time. The bread and butter was fresh and delicious. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the NY strip. Both were very good. The crab cakes were fried, but not at all greasy. There was no discernible filler and the house made tartar sauce was delicious. We chose the crème caramel for dessert. It was a very nice custard with berries and a thin caramel sauce. Everything was great. The service was very good, but all the servers seemed to be overextended. Maybe they were a little short handed last night. Overall, it was an excellent meal and we will definitely go back.More infoDuners RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.7
