- CChristineNew York City •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was amazing as always and the setting and service was lovely too. We were seated in the back by the hustle and bustle of the kitchen service door, making it slightly less enjoyable than usual. However we were happy to get a table for a special brunch at one of our favorite Westport restaurants.More infoTerrain Cafe – WestportPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Westport•4.7

The waffles were the lightest and crispiest we had ever had…and topped with fresh strawberries and handmade whipped cream!!!More infoRestaurant 1915 and Blue Roof Tapas Bar - Bear MountainPrice: Very Expensive• American• Bear Mountain•4
- JJosephNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Feast of the Seven Fishes, the elevated version was delicious! The three Mike’s really made it the perfect evening. Anastacio is the top chef in town for sure and he raised the bar again. The wine pairings with this tasting menu were perfectly chosen. And the service top notch & personnable. 4 hour dinner with each course spaced out perfectly. Not inexpensive but we were definitely given our moneysworth.More infoFin & BrewPrice: Moderate• American• Peekskill•4.5
- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. Next time.More infoMacArthur's Restaurant at The Historic Thayer HotelPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Point•3.8
