Scalini Fedeli was opened by chef-owner Michael Cetrulo in 1995 and very quickly became New Jersey's highest rated Italian restaurant.     We are long time customers. The place can use some updating and a deep cleaning. No hot sake ? Def should make sure the machine works. The staff was very good from Louis the server, Hector the chef and Andy the manager. They all were very accommodating. Food is consistent and very good.

    Great serving sizes at a very reasonable price point. Whipped ricotta was delicous, and the bread that it comes with was so good (and they give you so much). I had the Carbonara, great flavor and a good amount of pancetta. Wife had the Chicken Parm, she loved it. Ambiance is great, love the decor and the bar is very classy. Good wine selection at a good price point. My wife and I got 2 apps and an entree each. I had a martini and 2 glasses of wine. Tab was $140, great value. Waitress was very helpful, talked us out of ordering too many apps because we were unaware how large the serving sizes were!
