Aera is 38 stories and has an amazing view of downtown Toronto . We were at the Chef's counter and had a great views of the CN Tower. The host was great. She showed us two options for seating, where we were reserved and one more option. I had the mac and cheese which was delicious. They put mushroom and onion in it. And we each had a cocktail. I had the Amelia, I think it was called. It was tasty but quite small, that was the only thing. My sister's cocktail was a more reasonable size. The guys beside us had a cheeseburger and it looked so good! The service was great . They server was friendly and service was fairly quick . The restaurant is on the more pricey side and so are the drinks. But if you are looking for a great view of the city it's worth it. The team at Prime are a well oiled machine. I was blown away by our server Daniel. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was spectacular. Special shout out to the lobster spaghetti! We had a last minute addition to our reservation and Prime was able to accommodate our party from 8 people to 9 by moving us into the private dining room, "The Cottage". This room was really neat. We were able to observe some of the food prep and behind the scenes camaraderie in the kitchen. Matty Matheson has created an absolute masterpiece at Prime. Delicious food, drinks, and very friendly service. 10/10 recommend this restaurant for a fun birthday dinner!
