- OTOpenTable DinerLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoSimply exceptional. The entire team was a delight to interact with; they went above and beyond in ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience. The courses were so thoughtfully prepared, offered unexpected surprises to the palate, and yet very approachable. You could tell the chefs honor the science and joy of their craft. We surprised ourselves in choosing the non-alcoholic drink pairings; they were just as intricate and delightful as the meal. Worth every bit of the price. If you don’t have an adventurous +1, don’t wait—go alone.More infoThe Catbird SeatPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Music Row•4.8
- BBethHouston •1 review4.0Dined 5 days agoSecond trip to Bastion—the first was a year ago and positively incredible, from the food to the wine to the service, music and ambiance. Brought some friends back this time and was far less impressed, unfortunately. It may have just been an off night but I found most of the dishes and wines forgettable, with a couple truly unpalatable (in at least two cases, courses were excessively salty IMO, and I couldn’t choke down one of the wine pairings). That said, the beef main was great, as were the accompanying rolls and a couple of the seafood preparations. Still love what this place is doing but was disappointed last night (and bummed to have talked the restaurant up to friends who left similarly underwhelmed).More infoBastionPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• South Nashville•4.9
