Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Bolton

Celebrated my 60th birthday with my family last night, had a lovely round table, at 5:45pm on a Saturday, couldn't believe how busy it was, it was our first visit. The restaurant is part of Astley Point, a venue with four restaurants and a bar. On arriving we got a really friendly welcome and shown to our table, soon offered drinks, ordering a few bottle Pinot Grigio, follows by the menus. We have various garlic breads to start followed by main course, mostly past, with one ordering sea bass, the food was tasty, well presented, a good portion and hot. We didn't have dessert as the restaurant very kindly let my sisters deliver a birthday cake in advance. Always great. Atmosphere and service amazing as always. Bar drinks lively. Starters amazing, masala prawns and crab croquettes. Main chicken nice, main halloumi salad rubbish, all leaves no halloumi burnt cauliflower. Prices so reasonable.

A get together with fellow retirees to celebrate two birthdays. Good food. We all had quesasdillas but with different fillings accompanied by wine &/or beer &/or soft drinks & followed by coffee. A very enjoyable meal. Was surprised by the number of customers. It was quiet but it was a Monday lunchtime .

Went to celebrate an 80th birthday. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals, which were delicious. Had very attentive service by our server, Chris, who was very pleasant, respectful and gave us excellent customer service: even noticed the 80th birthday card and presented the 'birthday girl' with a Happy Birthday plate of ice cream and csnt floss,made her night. Thank you Chris.

Amazing project place, food was on point and the staff were friendly and polite. The overall atmosphere was amazing. Even made the extra effort to come out with staff to sing happy birthday and celebrate with us.
