Part of our group was a little delayed. The hostess handled this well with no interruptions and service. The menu is appropriate for a German restaurant. A little bit limited on selections but not unexpected. The actual food was prepared quite well. Everything was tasty and came out at an appropriate temperature. The appetizers were creative. The schnitzel was fried Appropriately. The red cabbage is excellent. The potatoes and sauerkraut are very good. The strudel is excellent. The soufflé is very good. The spaghetti ice cream is a bit of a novelty. While it is visually pleasing, the taste is similar to a strawberry sundae. Overall, this is a good experience and I would recommend coming back if one is interested in German food.

Our brunch experience at Brasserie La Banque was absolutely delightful. Celebrating our 1-year anniversary here was a perfect choice. The ambiance was warm and inviting, complemented by a touch of elegance that made our celebration special. Our server, Libby (hope I spelled it right), provided exceptional service. They surprised us with a custom sign on our table acknowledging our anniversary and treated us to a complimentary celebratory drink, which added a personal touch to our experience. The highlight of my meal was the caviar omelette, which was simply divine. The flavors were exquisite, and the dish was a perfect blend of creamy textures and savory goodness. Each bite was a delight. The drinks selection was impressive, offering a variety of options that paired well with our brunch dishes. Libby's recommendations were on point and enhanced our overall dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a special occasion or simply indulge in a delicious brunch or other meals . We look forward to returning if we are ever in Charleston again!

Let me first say that a was here because it was restaurant week so the meal price was set and when compared to individual menu prices it was quite a bargain many choices also on special menu and all of the food was very good many people around us had the poutine as an appetizer and it could have been a meal itself . I had very freshly made. fried green tomato’s, main was crab stuffed flounder. Crab cake was delicious unusual presentation of carrot cake drizzled with a Carmel sauce. Great meal with 2 glasses of rose wine. Place very busy so service was not surprisingly a little short and quick. Highly recommend

One of the best culinary meals I’ve had here in the area. Loved the polenta appetizer, winter salad and red velvet cupcake. The bread and butter was delicious! Abigail, our server, was most attentive and knowledgeable. A fantastic experience.
