This time we were celebrating a birthday while vacationing in Waikiki. The request made for a specific table during the reservation, was kept, and I would like to extend a deep thank you for this! Atmosphere is of a dark mahogany steakhouse from back east. Wood fired cooking improves flavor of the high quality meats. Unlike other high end restaurants, Hys offers a starch and mixed veg option sides, included with meals. Requested a split wedge salad, which was fantastic and a perfect size. Table side prep, bananas foster always an excellent choice.
