Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Sugarhouse

We come here frequently and have always had a great experience. Food and service are exceptional. The staff are kind and personal. And a very good value for a great lunch.

My wife and I went out for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was nice to get off the beaten path up the canyon and the building is beautiful with lots of rich history. Our server (Elise), which I remember because it is my favorite car, was attentive, kind and being a dancer... floated around the restaurant. The food is a little on the pricier side, but every dish is very unique and full of flavor. Did not try the wines, but did have a beer. The ambiance was wonderful, until a group of loud business folk were seated next to us.... but it provided interesting eaves dropping and spurred conversation. We met another couple as we were leaving. Turns out that they were from Boston and had a house just miles from a relative of ours. Long story short, great food and service. And double bonus... no cell service so everyone is engaged and learning how to communicate again.

Brooklyn was fantastic and really enhanced our dining experience. The bar manager (sorry can’t remember his name) as well as Jason Newling were very hospitable.

The food was delicious. The waitress was attentive and helpful.

Food was very good. I loved that this steakhouse includes your sides with their entrees vs. ala carte. The service was top notch as well. We will definitely go back.
