Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in W. University / Med Center

We had the crab cake & Apple / goat cheese salad absolutely wonderful. We shared the sea bass and filet for dinner. This was the best dinner out we have had in a long while. Would have been better if we could have gotten a couple of martinis but our wine was wonderful. Service was impeccable.

Normally Valentine’s Day in restaurants are rushed and typically service is off. This was not the case, from our waitress Deana to the food was excellent. We were a little late due to traffic on Valentines Day but we were seated immediately! No issues! Everything was perfect! So glad I chose The Capital Grille, not my first time dining here but definitely not my last!

Guard and Grace is a beautiful place to spend on any special occasion. My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Trey, had excellent table side manner and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We really appreciated him as our server and will request him again when we come back with friends and family. The only negative thing I have to say is we don’t feel that the steaks were worth the value for the price. I got the NY strip and it was very tough. Which, strip usually is always tough but I was expecting a more tender piece of meat with a little more flavor. My husband got the Ribeye and he also felt like the steak could have been prepared better. He asked for rare and it was a cool red center like Trey told us it would be, but he felt like it was a bit over cooked. He liked the flavor though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s worth a try.

Sushi is always fresh and drinks are great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

It was my 71st birthday and this was my birthday choice last year this time and I was not disappointed just like last year. K.C. Was awesome. Food was the best. I have been dining here at this location since 2005 and I’m still impressed.
