Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Bayview

Honestly I was quite impressed with the food, the presentation, and the customer service. My one piece of feedback would be I think the restaurant could have been more clearly labeled from the outside, it took us some time to find it on the street

I ordered the Norma pasta. Generous portion and delicious! Our server was very sweet and helpful. This is one of my favourite neighborhood restaurants for weekend brunch, dinner and happy hour.

Nice place to be on a cold rainy November evening! Service is knowledgeable and friendly. Food was good with high marks to the fried eggplant and crispy shrimp. The harissa half roast chicken was a generous portion, moist but a tad over seasoned with the dry rub which we found gritty and a tad too hot! Ambiance is warm and welcoming. Will be back. Great place for a pre-theatre meal.

First time Italian cuisine. Wine tasting is a bonus. I learned a lot tonight. First tasting menu I tried ever with different groups of wine pairing on each dish by a certified wine specialist explaining how the pairing works and how they interwined. Thank you.

The overall experience was great but our server has race issues. I was with 2 friends of mine who are white and I am black. She never asked me what I wanted and never spoke directly to me. My friends noticed it and they weren’t happy about it. The food was great. The restaurant was loud especially when the dj started playing. A little over priced for what we ate but in spite that I would come back but not be served by that particular server- very disappointed. When you are in the service industry you have to leave your prejudices behind because you don’t know who you’re serving and frankly it shouldn’t matter.
