Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Humboldt Park

Great place to have a drink and brunch. Vibe is good, decoration is great and Taylor our waitress was really nice. The Christmas Ale is really good as well.

One of the very best restaurants I have been to in forty years of living in Chicago, excellent in every regard that counts: quality of service, quality of food, ambience, comfort, location, value, noise level. We've gone regularly since it opened in 2023 and loved it every time. The menu is not long, but the variety covers a lot of ground for every taste and the quality is very high.

Ordered Hells Kitchen Burger, chopped wedge salad, truffle fries and sweet potato fries. All were delish. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. Truffle fries cooked perfectly and chopped wedge salad so flavorful. Sweet potato fries were shoestring cut and good. Staff was attentive service was fast. First time visiting.

It’s a an annual tradition to visit RJ Grunts for the holidays for my family. We had a great time as always. Love the service, vibe, and food. Next year I won’t go on Christmas Eve as Lincoln Park Zoo is closed so no zoo lights :( Instead, we enjoyed a nice walkaround the neighborhood after eating. I will say the bartender must’ve punched out for Christmas early (who can blame them) because the cocktails were average at best. We will be back next year! 

Good food and service. Great location for going to second city. Excellent vibe. Happy hour specials are a great value.
