- GGeorgaHouston •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA restaurant that is consistently excellent in service, food and atmosphere. The entry has been transformed into an Italian garden most effectively, so the entire experience is most transporting. The host always finds a way to accommodate our preference for a table where we can hear. Sometimes there is live music. Also, eating at the bar is fun. There is a smaller private glassed in room that is available for lunch meetings, family gatherings, or individual seating. A restaurant without issues, only enjoyment.More infoAmalfi Ristorante Italiano & BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Galleria / Uptown•4.9

- PPamelaHouston •36 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Le Jardinier fully deserves its new Michelin star. Our group of four had lunch after a museum visit. Everything from the ambience to the food to the service was spectacular. My squid ink shellfish ravioli was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world, and our most carnivorous diner pronounced the Wagyu burger “the best piece of meat I’ve ever had.” Bravi to everyone at Le Jardinier!More infoLe Jardinier - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• French• Heights / Washington•4.7
- RRachaelVIPHouston •12 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2025The exterior leading to the entrance door is stunning. With all the wood detail, you can see the build was thoughtfully planned out. Upon entering you're surrounded by wood detail and live beautiful plants and palms. Our favorite appetizers were the coconut shrimp and fried oysters. Both had so much flavor. We shared the el pescador grouper sandwich with wonderfully crispy fries and tasty sauces to accompany them. We finished with a dessert, the quattro leches, absolutely amazing! And we were given a free dessert, for our wait on the entree, of chocolate pie. This slice of pie was heaven! It was so creamy and included the flavor (and smell) of espresso! A must have! The bar area was nice and next time we will sit at the bar and view sports on the TV.More infoBalboa Surf ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- MMMMaherHouston •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 1, 2023I went to lunch at Stray Horse because the JW Marriott was the venue I was attending a seminar. I arrived earlier then other attendees and the restaurant got full very quickly. I was able to get my order in before the restaurant filled up. There were four people total assisting the crowd. I have never seen anyone move as quickly and assisting everyone with their needs. Even though they were busy they made sure I was taken care of. The chef salad was exceptional. I went to eat there the next day for lunch...need I say more.More infoStray HorsePrice: Expensive• American• Galleria / Uptown•3.6
