- CChris and AnitaVIPSan Diego •44 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI appreciated the service from the hostess to the waitress to the server. It was a very great experience. The menu had a great variety of options and the drinks menu had a great selection. I ordered the N.Y. steak meal and it was prepared to perfection! My wife had the charcuterie board and she really enjoyed it! I was surprised with a candle on the chocolate mousse that we ordered because my birthday was recently and we enjoyed that treat! Thank you so much!More info20|TWENTYPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carlsbad•4.2
- OTOpenTable DinerSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went in on a Monday night to celebrate an anniversary. It was fairly busy we think because of the all night happy hour, but regardless it was a wonderful experience. Food came out quick and was very flavorful. It took a few minutes for our server to come over and acknowledge us and get our drink order, but he was very attentive from that moment on. We will recommend this spot to our friends for sure. - RRyanSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024The newest offering from the same team that brought us Jeune et Jolie and Campfire, Wildland is a breath of fresh air. Its an interesting combination of fast casual meets hospitality and "when you're here you're family" (but not in the fake Italian sort of way). The menu is concise and has something for every palette, which is helpful, and the drinks are very good (similar to Campfire). The ambiance is cozy but minimal as there is a LOT going on. The open kitchen, bar and bakery make for eye candy everywhere. My favorite bite was the Clams, followed closely by the Mafaldine pasta. The pizzas were above average but could use a little more generosity on the toppings. The Pistachio tiramisu is a must try. We look forward to trying breakfast... and lunch.
