- MMichaelVIPGreater Boston •54 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe restaurant was quite full when we arrived but we were seated promptly and had good service throughout our meal. The food was very good. We had the philly steak egg rolls and beet salad for appetizers and the cashew encrusted icelandic haddock and the bee bolognese. We also enjoyed the cocktails, especially the"cocktail for a cause" which seems to be a riff on a bee's knees. Only small quibble was that when ordering off the menu, the order online information kept popping up time and time again - it was distracting. This is my third time at Tempo and I've enjoyed it every time!More infoTempoPrice: Moderate• American• Waltham•4.7

- MMarkGreater Boston •11 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025The Boston Ale House was good. I went with a buddy and we sat at the bar. I had a cranberry margarita and my friend had a captain and diet and both drinks were good. For food, I got the tuna poke bowl which I really liked. My friend had the salmon and asked for it cooked medium rare but he felt it was over cooked. I’ve had the salmon before and didn’t specify the temperature and it was good with the “default” temperature. There was a football game on the many TVs, some huge, so it was a pretty lively crowd. Bartenders were good and friendly enough. It’s a big open space with large windows looking out at Center St. in West Roxbury. It’s a nice place. Overall a fun night and I would definitely recommend it.More infoThe Boston Ale HousePrice: Moderate• American• West Roxbury•4.3
