From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome, offered excellent recommendations, and was a true pleasure to chat with. Daniel is a gem, and Kevin is high-energy and great ... but all the servers are wonderful and it's clear they care about your experience. Jar is one of my favorites, however, you need to book early, as they tend to run-out of food. This has happened the last 3 times I was there, and while disappointing and a bit embarrassing when you're hosting dinner, it seems to be the norm. Delicious, elevated old-school with some decidedly modern accents, I have recommended Jar many times with the 'book early' caveat.
