- SSusanMinneapolis - St. Paul •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe've dined at Lurcat several times, and it never fails to impress. Last night we stopped off after a visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art and chose to keep things simple, ordering off the bar menu. The mini-burgers and fries (with a side dish of Bearnaise for dipping) were perfect, and the warm cinnamon sugar mini donuts for dessert were just what we needed on a cold January night. As always, service was excellent.More infoCafe Lurcat - MinneapolisPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown / North Loop•4.7
- AAdamMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife and I loved the food, ambience, and service. The prices are on the high side but that is expected for this level of food/experience - we were celebrating an anniversary so it was a special occasion. Having said that, the food/drinks/service were as good as we have ever had. My wife rates the steak as the best she has ever had (filet) and I'd say it is definitely up there but we did eat at PS Steak a few months ago and I thought that was better but that is also another notch up in price. We have eaten at many top notch steak places - but the point is the steak was super awesome - perfect cook and seasoning. And it was $60 for 8 oz with asparagus and mashed potatoes and a sauce (I believe there were some mushrooms too!). I really enjoyed the tandoori chicken breast that I had. Nothing crazy special but it was excellent for $30. Then there were also the drinks - great variety and very delicious. The lemon drop my wife had was awesome - she gets them everywhere and they definitely vary. She likes them sweet (doesn't like when they are a "burner"). This was sweet with some body to it and a hint of vanilla - I really liked it as well. I had a mezcal/aperol concoction that I enjoyed. Drinks I think were $15 each which is pricey but, again, that is pretty common now and they were excellent. We ended with chocolate mousse that was delicious. The service was attentive, helpful, and quick. It was a slow Thursday night (Bridgerton candle light concert afterwards). In any case, we will be back for sure (and will be recommending to others)!More infoNicollet Island InnPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / North Loop•4.8
- GGaryVIPMinneapolis - St. Paul •23 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 19, 2025The Beacon Public House has a new menu as of a week or so ago. My wife and I tried the Pork Belly Bowl and Carne Asada Tacos, both were very good and could be easily a meal unto themselves. In addition, I had the Pappardelle Bolognese. It was good and a lighter pasta option, but I would have liked a bit more flavors included to provide a more gastronomic experience. As always, the service was outstanding, not only with our server, but with those around the restaurant including the bar tender and hostess. An overall very enjoyable experience!More infoBeacon Public House - Graduate MinneapolisPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Downtown / North Loop•4.6

- JJordanTreasure Coast •2 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Thank you for making my birthday a special one! I had a group of 8 booked for a birthday party. I requested the private room in back and they were able to accommodate right at the reservation time. Everyone was happy with the food and loved the experience. Very kind of them to also bring a dessert on the house for my birthday. Overall a great night and definitely recommend for your special occasionsMore infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Minneapolis, MN | Lyndale & Lake (Lyn-Lake)Price: Expensive• Japanese• Uptown•4.8
