- LLisaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe enjoy going to the theater and are always looking for a good place to get a meal before or after. We tried San Laurel for the first time and were delighted. The service (thank you, Johnnie) couldn’t have been better. He asked before we ordered and what time the show was so he could be mindful of the timing of the courses. My husband and I aren’t meat eaters so we kept to the appetizer section and ordered several of the vegetarian options to share. The olive oil cracker with membrillo and cheese was heavenly, the eggplant, and wild mushrooms both had sauces that made us want to lick the bowls clean. The only downside was the restaurant seemed a bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces with nothing to help absorb sound. We ate relatively early and the dining room was half empty so I wonder how loud it would be at full capacity. I’m looking forward to going back again and hopefully for a matinee show so we can try brunch.More infoSan LaurelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Downtown•4.8
- HHeidiLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had dinner before attending a show at the Pantages. The food was excellent. Nice presentation. The bougie chips are a must try. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The service was top notch. I would recommend this restaurant and will return.More infoLemon GrovePrice: Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.6
- PPhylanaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOur fare consisted of the Cod, Short Ribs, Shrimp and Steak Skewers, Chicken Meatballs, and the Sorbet Trio for dessert. Every morsel was taste and delightful to the palate. The prices were reasonable. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance, multiple seating levels, and ceiling aquarium visually pleasing. Valet parking convenient and only $14 bucks. The restroom clean and the circular black 45 spindle adapter walls were unique. Only disappointment was you only get 3 Skewers so if you are dinning with someone you have to resort to rock-paper-scissor to see who will get the 3rd delicious Skewer-maybe should offer at least 4. Also be careful ascending the stairs to the restaurant they are very steep. Overall a wonderful dinning experience and I highly recommend it (Thanks TikTok).More infoMrs. FishPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.5
- LLisaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was a really good experience because the food was excellent as well as the service. The staff is warm and welcoming and our meal was served promptly so it gave us time to relax and enjoy our meal before heading over to the theater with plenty of time. The prices are high and the menu isn’t as extensive as other Katsuya restaurants but it was fine for a special occasion.More infoKatsuya - HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Hollywood•4.6
- JJacklynLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Wonderful Wicked theme 3 course menu that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed before watching Wicked across the street at the Pantages. From the moment you walk into the Living Room, the ambience and vibe were very “Emerald City”. We sat in the dining room which had a more intimate vibe. Presentation was perfection, dinner was delicious and service was superior. The attention to detail and white glove treatment was chef’s kiss. The staff and Joanna were awesome. 10/10 would recommend. Hubby and I truly enjoyed our Hollywood Holidate!More infoLiving Room at W HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hollywood•4.4
