Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Jamaica Plain

Had such a great time. Live dj is awesome. Staff super friendly. Food was delicious. Our tomahawk was cooked to perfection. Mac n cheese was creamy so good. Drinks are a must try the Moscow mule.

The Harvest never disappoints even on a busy Friday night that just happens to be Valentine’s Day. The food is delicious and, just as importantly, as you ordered it. My medium-well done filet mignon was exactly the temperature I requested. Too often, it comes out rare, but not here. The pacing of courses was good: neither too fast nor too slow. The Harvest manages to reinvent itself decade after decade without losing the fine quality and service it is famous for. Just go; you’ll be glad you did.

The food was SO delicious, they had such a fun cocktail menu, and the staff was so nice and attentive!

The three course Valentine’s Day dinner was excellent! Pretty much everything we had was above average, compared to restaurants at a similar price range. The oysters and shrimp cocktail was a strong start. The Chateaubriand steak was particularly phenomenal, and the sides we chose (spicy broccoli and sautéed mushrooms) exceeded expectations. The profiteroles for dessert rounded it out quite nicely! We will be coming back here.
