Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in SOMA

We are sad that Mathilde is closing down. We just had our last diner here and as always it was outstanding! Cannot wait to dine again to their sister restaurant L’Ardoise! See you soon and thank you for the amazing diner.

Waterbar never disappoints! From cocktails and appetizers to entrees with wine finishing with a fabulous dessert - the seafood is locally sourced! The waitstaff is knowledgeable and attentive (but not overly!) - Waterbar is always a treat

Good and authentic Cantonese dim sum (coming from a Chinese customer), beautiful location and great service, highly recommend it.

We LOVED this restaurant. We sat inside so we couldn’t see the movie, but that wasn’t really an issue. The restaurant itself was stunning. Our server David was absolutely lovely. He really made our experience. The food was great, we got the smoked salmon, burrata with pears, sesame chicken, and pork chop. Everything was delicious. For dessert we got crème brûlée and a sort of chocolate mousse. Fantastic. It’s an expensive date but you pay for the food and the experience. Would go again!

Great dinner experience downtown! Ask for an elevator keycard on your way to the 5th floor (not marked in the elevator). Unless raining, the outdoor seating has a nice lounge vibe, and heaters. Nice drinks and bar area. Food and service were great, with some accessible comfort foods that my kids recognized and loved, nice ambiance. This place deserves to do well!
