Over the years I have traveled extensively throughout Italy in search of new ideas, recipes, and great wines to bring back to Three Tomatoes. The source of inspiration continues to be the simple, fresh, healthy and local foods of Trattoria style cooking. Eating in a Trattoria in Italy is like eating with an Italian family. The mood can be relaxed or boisterous, but always friendly. It is a home away from home and a gathering place for friends. I have tried to capture the warmth of the trattoria kitchen with its open fire, the aroma of simmering sauces, roasted meats, grilled fish and pizza baking in our custom built wood fired oven. Our newly revised wine list has been enhanced by selections of distinction and value inspired by attending Vinitaly, Slow Food's Terra Madre and visiting vineyards throughout Italy, Sicily and Sardinia. Three Tomatoes has captured some of the spirit that makes wine, food, and conviviality such an important part of trattoria life.

The Harpoon Riverbend Taps is open for dining in our spacious dining room or warming huts. We look forward to welcoming you!The Harpoon Brewery Taproom and Beer Garden is open 7 days/week for outside/inside dining or take-out food orders. We are open Sunday through Wednesay from 11AM to 6PM- Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11AM to 8PM. We have live music every Thursday from 5pm-8pm. Our retail store is also open for merchandise, beer, cider, and hard coffee to go.     Salmon was delicious. The salad base was yummy, but it would have been nice to have a bit of starch like rice with it. The open atmosphere could be very noisy, but we were there early, so it wasn't as full as it would be later. The service was great. The bread and garlic oil is always good.

    We had a Christmas Eve dinner at the Copper Grouse. The drink and dinner choices were varied and we each saw a number of items we would enjoy. The cheese board was tasty as was the arancini appetizer. Portions were very healthy and the sides were all delicious and well prepared. We wound up sharing bites amongst the table and everyone was stuffed when we finished. Service was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a good vibe. Only negative is, being in a hotel, there was a mix of kids watching videos on their ipads and couples out for a pre-holiday dinner. We have eaten here before and would definitely come back.
