Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Franconia

The food was very fresh and tasty! Loved the lobster cocktail and the steak frites! Also great mimosas!

The Blue Bell Inn is our favorite restaurant. It has a beautiful atmosphere, the food is excellent, and the service is amazing. It satisfies all the criteria that we look for in a good restaurant. We especially like the bar area that has plenty of seating along with mid-top and high-top tables. We love the ambiance. Its definitely on the high-end of dinning but it is well worth it. Definitely highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. They provide a personal attention to each guest. It feels like family. Very cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed that the entire dining room chimmed in to sing happy birthday to my Dad. We had a wonderful evening. Very relaxed. No rush, we could enjoy at our own pace.

Arrived a few minutes before our reservation on Valentine's Day. We were greeted and seated immediately in a lovely small dining room where one could actually carry on a conversation. The four course prefix that was offered included many interesting choices. All the food we had was excellent....beef carpaccios, scallops, salad, salmon, pork chop and dessert sampler. Service by Natalie was outstanding. She was attentive, professional and didn't rush us. Drinks were good and reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. We willl surely be returning in the near future! Thank you Washington House.

Perfect Valentine’s dinner. Service was incredible, always there when needed yet had plenty of privacy. We had a table outside which was beautiful and felt magical. The heaters made it feel cozy and they also provided blankets for our laps. Started with the cheese board which was delicious. A wide variety of cheeses all that were balanced in flavor and texture. I then had the salmon that was perfectly cooked, crispy skin with tender meat underneath. My husband had the pork belly which he thoroughly enjoyed. The cocktail (I had the Sicilian with vodka) was expertly prepare and my glass of Chardonnay at dinner was also very good. We have been to Talula’s Garden many times and have also had wonderful meals and service. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.
