- AAlJacksonville / Northeast Florida •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur meal was very good. We only had a party of two, which is a bit of a challenge for a restaurant where food is served family-style. For most people, an entree can easily serve two people. If you are light eaters, perhaps even three. We shared a chicken scalloping in lemon butter sauce ($32). The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was good enough to dip bread in. The dish also had a bed of sautéed spinach below the chicken. We also shared a mixed greens salad ($30) which was HUGE. It could easily serve 4 people. The salad was a nice mixture of greens with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, and olives in their house Italian dressing. My only complaint is why they would put pitted olives in a salad. Not that hard to pick out and eat individually, but it would be possible to scoop one up with some lettuce and bite into it without knowing. The servers seemed to work very hard, though the number of tables they had meant it was a tad slow. The vibe was very good, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will definitely keep Carmine’s on our list for future New York trips, especially if we are in groups larger than two.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6
- AalixNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI rarely review restaurants but I must share this experience which I have never had in York City—the best! I’d made a lunch with my daughter and granddaughter before seeing thenNutcracker. On the way to the restaurant, my daughter had an accident—she bumped into a pillar at the Times Square station and broke off her 2 front teeth. Naturally, we were all upset. As soon as we arrived at the Smith, the entire staff was amazing. They seated us immediately inside, brought my daughter an ice pack and Advil, and were so comforting. Special kudos to Justin, our server , who even researched an emergency dentist. He brought us dessert and said that entire meal was on the house! As a native New Yorker, I was so surprised and touched to the bottom of my heart. Kindness still exists in this crazy world and in New York City which can get such a bad rap. The food was great. The Smith is now our go to restaurant in Lincoln Square. Thank you so much to everyone at the Smith!More infoThe Smith- Lincoln SquarePrice: Moderate• American• Lincoln Square•4.6
- LLisaBaltimore / Maryland •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe food and ambiance was over the top. Our meals were scrumptious! Each bite was a true pleasure. Can’t wait to return! The bathrooms were a bit of a disaster. Too many people without a pickup service. I mentioned it to the gentleman who was confirming guest reservations but he didn’t really care. Wine prices were a little ridiculous. But the meals and decor were 5 star! Thank you!!!More infoSerra by Birreria - Eataly NYC FlatironPrice: Expensive• Italian• Gramercy Park•4.3
