Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Moorpark

Our Favorite restaurant in Venice! Went for Sunday lunch a got the best table on the patio next to the fire pit. Always order the truffle & mushroom pizza. It’s a winner! The smoked salmon and toast with capers and pickles onion, herbed cream cheese spot on. The candied bacon delish! We also had the panini which was excellent…… don’t skip dessert! Warm date cake with a gooey sauce topped with vanilla ice cream Ned’s I say more! Thank you host & hostess for an amazing table.

Magnificent service. Some of the best. The Yule log—sublime! The pigs in a blanket—imagine what that might be like with a master pastry chef! Shrimp cocktail—how often is it merely passable? Here it is of a uniformly exquisite tenderness. I want to say again, the SERVICE. This place is an industry standard but is generally underrated. Visit it again.

Our family Christmas plans changed last minute and we were looking for a place to get a Christmas Day reservation. We had the Prix Fixe Brunch Menu and it was spectacular. Everything from the bisque to the tuna tartar and crab cake appetizers to the filet and salmon entrees was wonderful. The view was, as expected, a fabulous ocean view, and our server, Wilson, was impeccable and made our experience even better. We cannot wait to go back again.

Each time I step into Catch LA, I feel like royalty. The ambiance is sexy, but it is the service that truly steals the show each time! Every member of the staff exudes professionalism and genuine warmth. They anticipate our needs before we even realize them, making every experience at my favorite LA restaurant impeccable - so much so that we've made coming to Xmas Eve dinner at Catch LA an annual tradition with my chosen family! I have no notes on the effortless quality of food, beverages, and, most importantly, THE SERVICE and THAT is why Catch LA is a step above the rest! Come for a cocktail at the bar, enjoy stunning rooftop views of the city while having delectable food and beverages, and experience dining at its finest! The food the service in the ambience were nothing less than memorable. We had been here a year ago for the holidays and it was. The only unfortunate exception was the couple that was seated next to us midway through our meal. They were rude to the waitress, nasty, obnoxious, and loud - obviously drunk. Our waitress Kris couldn’t have been nicer and handled the situation professionally but I know she could see our displeasure. We live in Northern California, and purposely made reservations again for the holidays due to our prior visit. I’m not sure we will return again due to this experience.
