Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Greektown

Beautiful setting by the river, efficient service, delicous food.

We were traveling to Chicago from Dallas to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and made reservations for Gibson's ahead of time. It was everything I thought it would be! We had the espresso martini mocktails and they were delicious, genuinely very surprised! We had gotten the chef's tasting board of steaks, and they were divine, cooked to perfection. Cody was our server and took excellent care of us- courses came out in a timely manner, was checking on us with consistency, gave great recommendations for drinks and food. Next time we are in Chicago, we will definitely be dining here!

First time there but I work down the street and will definitely be back. Everything was delicious and the ambience was great. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday so we wanted a nice restaurant in this area that wouldn’t break the bank. We thought it was reasonably priced for the Gold Coast.

We were the 1st to show up today. The Maitre’d was Dressed Impeccable and greeted Us immediately. Asked us to have a seat at the Bar and we’d be seated in 10-15mins. When we were, they offered to Check our Coats. Literally EVERYONE wished my Daughter a Happy Birthday 🥳 The Ambiance & Decor is Absolutely Beautiful 😍 including the Bathroom. Our waitress made great suggestions for Drinks, Appetizers & Main Courses. We ordered Based off our taste buds and Her Recommendations ( My Daughter is Vegetarian) EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! The wait staff was attentive with cleaning the table consistently while ALSO wishing my Baby Happy Birthday 🎈 Both the Manager & General Manager came over to ask about our Meal & Experience and I couldn’t help but RAVE ABOUT EVERYONE, the Service & FOOD. I would give a rating of 10 out of 10💥 the Mommy/Daughter Date ended with the most Delectable Dessert & Sparkler. I can’t thank you enough. It was very emotional bcus My Son/Her ONLY SIBLING passed (Car Accident) and HIS HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY 😇 iS TOMORROW🙇🏽‍♀️ Yes a Day after hers. Outstanding 6-course tasting menu! My vegetarian friend and I were both accomodated beautifully. Some of the finest Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. Each course was stunning to look at, with an astonishing array of flavors and textures. Kudos to the chef!
