The Kings Arms lies deep in the heart of the East Devon countryside.     We booked to meet some friends with none of us being local to the area. We were welcomed warmly even though not regulars. The atmosphere was pleasant and really festive. Service was quick and very pleasant and professional. Food arrived quickly and was hot, good quality and as described on the menu. Likewise paying was quick and easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you to all the staff at the Greyhound. We hope to visit again soon.

    We were a family group of six. It was a nice Xmas feeling with the people around us. The food was just ok, some of the group enjoyed all the courses but majority thought it was very average for the money we paid. Service was very good, servers were cheerful and obliging. We did enjoy ourselves and there was plenty to eat. Was it value for money ? Not sure but you have to pay a lot extra when people work on Xmas day.
