Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We checked out the new HH menu and it was AWESOME! Sliders, tempura shrimp and arancini balls were all fantastic as was the January wine of the month Vin Noir. Also cannot go wrong with a carafe of the barrel reserve. The HH red blend was just ok - esp after having barrel reserve. Service was exceptional.

Enjoyed our brunch experience here. The food options are plentiful and taste very good. Lots of options for different preferences. Make a reservation. The drinks are pretty expensive - I wish they had a bottomless or multiple option.

We had the best New Year’s Day brunch and were served by a wonderful waitress, Selenia, who paid attention to every detail and made sure we were comfortable.
