Best Organic Food Restaurants in Western Springs

Dinner and wait staff was wonderful! Food came out hot and correct. We celebrated a birthday and everyone sang their little bday song

We got the chef's counter experience. We were seated at a counter on high chairs looking into the kitchen as they were preparing the food for the restaurant. They worked as a well oiled machine. Tue Chef/Owner was there working at the pass finishing dishes. He helped to serve us and explain the dishes. The food was excellent. There were different textural elements along with complimentary and contrasting flavors. Everything was seasoned to perfection. We got the optional wine paring with it, and unfortunately, the waitress that was serving our drinks was a little slow at one point and we didn't get the wine that was intended to go with a dish until after that course. Fortunately, it was a reisling so sipping on it between courses was enjoyable. Overall it was a stellar experience that I would definitely recommend amd I will definitely be going back to Bloom.

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day 2025 dinner at Prasino. The snowy Chicago weather meant it wasn’t overly crowded, making for a cozy and intimate experience. The ambiance was excellent, and while the entrée selection was somewhat limited, every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Service was attentive and professional. Highly recommend for a date night or a business dinner!

Hummus wa excellent. Spaghetti squash lasagna was delicious. My husband enjoyed his burger Flourless chocolate cake with vegan ice cream- very yummy!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Have always wanted to go to Benihana. I lived in Japan for 6 years so am a fan of tepanyaki. My husband and I chose seating in the bar area since it was just the two of us. We were seated in a quiet, intimate area next to windows overlooking the snow covered Japanese garden. Beautiful view despite the urban setting! We selected meals from the specialties section of the menu - excellent value for what you get: grilled filet mignon, veggies, shrimp, lobster with soup, salad, green tea and sherbet! The food was fantastic! Grilled to perfection with ginger and garlic sauce and a mustard sauce for added umami. Delicious! You don’t have to be seated at the communal grill with a view of the chef for an excellent meal. Can’t wait to go back!!
