- BBarryvipSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat service and seating around the chef counter was a bonus. You can see all the cooking action right in front of you. The wagyu carpaccio was the highlight of the night. It just melts in your mouth. The organic pear salad was also great for sharing. However the aged duck breast and the dry-aged bone in ribeye had some tendons and chewy parts that is unable to swallow.More infoCowboy StarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.9

The service was great. The food delicious. A perfect night.More infoQueenstown Public HousePrice: Moderate• Organic• Little Italy•4.8

Can't beat the ambiance in the restaurant, but service was pretty slow, but who's in a hurry when you're enjoying great beer?! Whoever created the Stone Fireside Magic brown ale deserves a big fat raise and an award for the best ale I've ever tasted in my life. - JJohnvipSan Diego •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGot reservations for seats at the bar. There is a tasting menu, as well as a separate bar menu, mostly small plates. Cocktails from menu are twists on classic cocktails, and they were truly extraordinary, as well as the off menu cocktails we ordered, and we've sampled some of the best. Food sampled at bar: Crudo, Tartare, Pain et Beurre, and Gougere. All were phenomenal. Service at bar was very attentive and knowledgable, they know what they're doing, and they do it well. Cool vibe and music playing from reel to reel player in bar. Very open, busy kitchen with frequent calls from cooks, "Oui, chef!" Great for foodies and cocktail nerds. Pricey, some may not appreciate the value.More infoJeune et JoliePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Carlsbad•4.9
- MMarilynSan Diego •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy girlfriend and I go there a lot. We usually split the Caesar salad, which is the best ever Caesar! Today we split the avocado toast. It was pretty bland for our taste. We usually think of avocado toast as having some sort of little kick, but this had none. Salt and pepper helped a little, then we asked for some aoli, which was chipotle mayo, which also helped. But we both decided that we wouldn’t order it again.More infoWaverly Restaurant & LoungePrice: Expensive• American• Encinitas•4.6
