And the view of the canal is one of the prettiest in town. Wonderful service and very cordial atmosphere. A must !More infoHarbour Restaurant at Canal SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lewes•4.8
- CCatherineVIPWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 24, 2025While others have raved about t at The General Store, I had not eaten there in a few years and under new management and chef. Well...it lived up to what I had been told. I had shrimp and grits and outside of New Orleans, they are the best I've ever had. Tender, sweet shrimp and the sauce over the excellent grits was unlike any I have ever tasted on this dish or any other. Unique and scrumptious. My companion had the rack of lamb and loved it. The waitress was friendly and funny and never seemed stressed even though she handled many tables. She did it with aplomb. I think the decor and ambience are better than in past years, but the chairs are not comfortable, probably because they are the kind you would you use in the office break room. Strange, because the wooden tables were most attractive. That said, I can't wait to go back.More infot at The General StorePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St Michaels / Tilghman Island•4.9
- KKenPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Jam was a wonderful find that did not disappoint. We were seated quickly in a warm, windowed dining room adjacent to a wine collection room divider. Jack, our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about Jam’s menu. We opted for fish tacos (huge portion of 2), and a Rehoboth Beach version of a cheesesteak constructed with a generous chunks of filet mignon (one of the best cheesesteaks we’ve ever had). Both dishes were accompanied by delicious sides of truffle-parmigiana fries and cheesey fries. The meal was better than expected and thoroughly enjoyed. We’re heading back next Thursday for Jam’s steak night!More infoJam BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Rehoboth Beach•4.4
