- MMukundVIPChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIs one might expect eating at the Trump is usually expensive. My only concern was that the food was good but not great. A $23 French toast should be brioche bread thick cut not standard bread standard slices. The bacon was cool if not cold. Which of course means it was made in bulk at an earlier time. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food and regardless of how busy you are they should’ve made the food fresh. Especially when it was ordered à la cart and we paid à la cart prices. The view is priceless and the facility itself is beautiful. One can’t complain about seeing Lake Michigan from their window while eating breakfast. Coffee was excellent if a little weak. But that’s just a personal preference. Premium pricing is acceptable under the circumstances but not with the current quality of food. This was average food in a above average setting and left us wanting for something a little more exciting and interesting. I could understand if it was a buffet but to serve cool or relatively older food rather than freshly make it and preserve it to the table piping hot is not acceptable. Still a great experience.More infoTerrace 16Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Near North•4.4

The bread pudding was excellent but i was beaten by the huge portion size. Nice atmosphere, quite busy on a Friday night, would definitely go again.More infoElephant & Castle - Chicago Wabash Ave.Price: Moderate• American• Lakeshore East•4.5

Would definitely go back.More infoState and Lake Chicago TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Downtown / Loop•4
- WWendyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe service was very good. Brookie was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and the ambience was lovely. We were in the back room where it was quiet and cozy. Our only surprise was the small portion for the lobster ravioli. My niece is a fairly small 23 year old, and the lobster ravioli was more like a child's portion and didn't fill her up, so we all shared some of our food. However, she said it tasted really good. I would definitely return, but would not get the ravioli.More infoMiss Ricky's TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown / Loop•4.6
- MmaureenChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024Delicious lunch ! I had the tuna tartare, shrimp fettuccini and crème brûlée Everything was amazing ! The fettuccini is unique, not your typical cream sauce , which I thought was amazing , but just know that. The portion was large as were the shrimp ! Crème brûlée was truly some of the best I have ever had , highly recommend it!More infoShaw's Crab House & Oyster Bar - ChicagoPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.8
