- JJessicaSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTake my boyfriend’s family and him here for his birthday. Food came out pretty quick and our server was very attentive. At the end of his dinner, the server brought out Keylime pie and surprised us. I got the Mexican crested nut Seabass, with the garlic, mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini and it was decadent. - JJaimeVIPSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe absolutely love the ambiance here! The design and layout of the entire place is beautiful and spacious. I feel like they need a couple more fire pits outside so stay warm by. Its nice to arrive early and have a cocktail from the market around the fires. Grab some farm fresh items and freshly baked treats, sweet little market. The Haven restaurant upstairs is very nice and the service is top notch. The food is most certainly farm fresh and prepared wonderfully. We loved the prawns and hummus apps. I would say the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the meat both times I've been here. The short ribs were dry and a bit gamey because its grass fed, carrot finished beef. And the pork belly was tough and chewy, not sure why on that one. I prefer both to be bit more tender and juicy. The wine list here is also fairly eclectic, perhaps a few more known wines could be added. Other than that we enjoy this place very much and will be back to try more dinners!More infoHavenPrice: Expensive• Californian• Encinitas•4.3

As a member of the Aviara Golf Club, Ember & Rye is the exclusive restaurant of the Club, open to the public, and definitely a five star dining experience. The menu has great variety, all expertly prepared and presented by exceptionally professional waiters and support staff.More infoEmber & RyePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Carlsbad•4.6
