Best Organic Food Restaurants in Back Bay

We loved our server at Faccia e Faccia. He was calm and very knowledgeable about both food and drink on the menu. Hands down the best service we have experienced in a long time! The food was great-- could eat the bluefin tuna prepared that way every day of my life.

Another great meal at Abe & Louie’s, this time with the added experience of sitting upstairs for the first time. The atmosphere initially struck the perfect balance—comfortable and inviting for a special dining experience. Our waiter, Michael, was truly an experienced professional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, embodying the type of service that elevates a meal from good to exceptional. Michael ensured everything was timed perfectly, from appetizers to dessert, and his expertise was evident throughout the evening. The food, as always, was impeccable—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Every dish met the high expectations we’ve come to associate with Abe & Louie’s, making it a truly memorable meal. However, during the second hour of our meal, the experience was marred by noise. Several parties spilled over from the bar into the dining space, creating an overly loud and chaotic environment that detracted from the otherwise refined atmosphere. It was unfortunate and something that could have been better managed by the restaurant. Overall, it was still a very good experience, thanks largely to Michael and the exceptional food. However, the noise issue highlights an area for improvement to ensure that the dining room ambiance remains as polished as the cuisine and service.

We reserved a table in the Back Bar section on Christmas Eve. We’d never been to Bar 10 but relied on the great reviews and we were glad we did! Everything was great-the table we reserved, the server’s friendliness and knowledge of the menu, and of course the food! Great relaxing place to have dinner, we will come again when we are in the area. Thanks for a great dining experience.

Clam chowder and salad was great. Mussels were bland and dessert of chocolate tart so-so (not delicious) Service was skimpy and parsed bw about 4 or 5 different people. I’d give it an overall 3 out of 5.
