Quiessence is a fine dining, true farm to table restaurant located at The Farm at South Mountain, a 10 acre oasis by South Mountain. We have a 2 acre organic garden onsite that we utilize as much as possible for our dishes. Our menu changes regularly based on local and seasonal availability. We offer tasting menus with the option of doing 3, 4 or 5 courses. The restaurant itself is housed in the original farmhouse of the property giving the restaurant plenty of rustic charm.     We went there for my friend’s birthday and in reading the menu it didn’t sound very exciting but we ordered several things and everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. There is also a really cute outdoor area that would be great for a private party or a work function. I will definitely go there again.

    We celebrated a birthday. The food was marvelous! I ordered the 10 oz prime rib. It was fork-tender, juicy and delicious. Our server, Lucas, was extrodinaryly efficient, friendly and thorough. I did find the noise level a bit high but that may have been due to the large group of about 12 seated near us. The Keg is quickly becoming our "go-to place" when we want quality food at a reasonable price served by energetic, custormer-focused staff. Definately a 5 star experience.

    Dining at Cafe Monarch is similar to enjoying a wonderful performance. It reminds me of restaurants in Europe, where the waitstaff take their career seriously and see you, as the dining guest, as special, not just a number to be herded through as quickly as possible. During our 3 hour dining experience, we enjoyed the 8 course menu, which was excellent. My companion had the vegetarian, while I had the standard menu. Both were excellent with us truly enjoying 7/8 dishes. The waitstaff are extremely attentive but not disruptive and make the whole experience enjoyable. While it is very expensive for 8 small courses, we both left satisfied. Given that it was a 3 hour experience, I would consider it more than just "dinner" and just that, an experience. I will return again
