- PPeterVIPLos Angeles •305 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOne of the best Italian restaurants in the central coast vicinity. Highly recommended and reservations a must. The best eggplant parmesan and one of made like cannoli instead of slices. Not on the menu, but made to order is the best carbonara Italiano around.More infoTre LunePrice: Expensive• Italian• Montecito•4.8
- SSharonSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI love Stella Mare's...have been going there for more than 20 years...and I'm very sad that it is closing on January 1st. The old French country house ambiance is so enjoyable, and the food is wonderful. I truly hope they will find a suitable new location in Santa Barbara and reopen soon. It's especially troubling that the building will become a Mexican restaurant. I love Mexican food, but it's not as if we don't already have more Mexican restaurants than a town the size of Santa Barbara could possibly need! Farewell, Stella...hope to see you again soon.More infoStella Mare'sPrice: Expensive• French• Santa Barbara•4.8
- LLeeCalifornia Central Coast •10 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024The food here is delicious, definitely different from and a cut above traditional Indian restaurants in America. The service was also very attentive. I really appreciate the number of vegan dishes and the fact that everything is clearly marked. My two caveats are that there’s a lot of heat in this food so if you can’t stand that this is not the restaurant for you. Even the mild chutney was hot rather than flavorful. It’s also a noisy set up with little thought given to sound management in the design of the space. The pink themed walls are kind of cute but also slightly nauseating. - LLisaCalifornia Central Coast •52 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 13, 2024The Caesar Salad was fresh and the dressing was a tasty surprise. The Veal Milanese breading was crispy and paired nicely with the buttery, cheesy fettuccine. My friends both enjoyed their Spinach Ravioli and Pappardelle Vodka. Topped it off with us all sharing the Warm Lava Cake...delish!More infoChase RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Santa Barbara•3.4
