- MMichellePhilippines •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 19, 2024This is my 3rd time dining at Secret Recipe, and I would say the first time was the most pleasant even though we were outside, because I didn't have a reservation then. Food was great as usual, ambience is nice, music is appropriate for the vibe of the place, but what makes my first visit the best so far was because of the staff. I forgot the names of the staff who attended to us but they were really pleasant and accommodating, there were 3 of them The minute we sat down we were handed the menu and they gave us water and complimentary bread, then we were also told about the credit card promo the restaurant had at the time. Food was served in a fair amount of time, and it tasted great. The second time we went was not a busy time, it was already after lunch, and there were like 8-10 people inside. Staff was not that attentive, didn't even give us the complimentary bread like before, I actually forgot about it until I saw someone who just arrived were given those. Food was still great, and ambience was nice. The third time was just last Saturday, October 19. We were given water and bread after we ordered, which was fine, but still quite different from our first experience. Having to follow-up on additional orders was a pain. I asked for an additional Coke, and I have to ask three times, telling three different staff just for that Coke. The same thing happened when asking for our cakes, I have to ask two staff before it was finally served. It's a good thing that when getting the bill I didn't have to ask twice. Overall, it's still a good experience, and I would still come back, I just hope staff is more consistent and attentive.More infoSecret Recipe One AyalaPrice: Moderate• Asian• Manila•4.5
