Best Lunch Restaurants in North Portland

Attended Gracie's for Christmas Dinner. The meal had a selection of entrees and a buffet. The food was delicious, staff was very friendly, ambiance was lovely. Would return again.

This review addresses the Christmas eve buffet ONLY. The minuses: The Buffet area set up was lackluster. The blintzes for the caviar were miniature size. The Tempura asparagus had a taste of the frying oil. The Vegetable Gratin seems to have been sitting too long and was cold. The charcuterie and cheese boards were uninspiring . The tiny steak tartar/tuna bites very tasty but too small to enjoy with the crust. Desserts were plenty and pretty, but none was outstanding or memorable. Thee Beef Wellington was cooked well done and not available medium or medium rare, the crust was falling off and it lacked taste. The plusses: Service was attentive and excellent. The live music was very enjoyable and our table had a beautiful view. However, for the $150.00 per person (without drinks) I was expecting to have, at least, a properly cooked Wellington, and maybe one dish that was truly VOW!

Brunch was delicious as usual and the service was outstanding. Fun options to choose from for both food and beverages. Appreciate there is a good diversity in both alcohol based and non-alcohol drinks.

Our first time there. Loved the gently modern ambience, friendly service, wood-fired pizza, tasty apps, and timely selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Would definitely go again.
