Best Lunch Restaurants in Obere Au

Visited this restaurant on New Year’s Day and was able to get a reservation on short notice. We both got pasta and my dish was perhaps the best pasta dish I have had, definitely top 3. Good service also. Very nice interior. Highly recommend.

We booked dinner here on a whim looking for a steakhouse… when we arrived we were a little confused, as it looks like a Japanese restaurant…but BAM what a steak they make!!! I had a filet, could have cut the meat with a spoon it was so tender. My husband had a ribeye we had to help him finish it was so big… sides are a la carte but fabulous!!! We, as a group of 4, talked about this restaurant for 4 days…it was that damn good!!

We ate here Christmas Day, made reservations about two months in advance as recommended by our travel agent.  It did not disappoint! It was a packed restaurant, the service and the food were both great, especially the desserts!! 

It was a very nice experience!!! It was a little bit expensive but we had a very nice time.

A wonderful evening with good service and more interaction as usual as we decided to book the chefs table. It was interesting to see how the kitchen is prepared and everyone working in harmony together. The food was outstanding, beginning with several small tasting snacks, followed by 8 well balanced courses. All of them with great different textures and flavors. Some surprising combinations of ingredients and the wine pairing matching the dishes perfectly. Overall well worth to visit.
