- GGeorgeHouston •4 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWe were a party of 5. We got a nice quiet table in the sun room. Service was attentive. Steaks and red snapper were well prepared and had good taste and texture. I could have done with more sauce vierge on the snapper. The sides were okay but not great. Asparagus (and Bearnaise sauce) lacked much flavor, the pomegranate molasses dressing on the brussels sprouts was a little powerful, the gnocchi came off as pan-fried mashed potatoes. The onion soup was a disappointment - rather sweet, not much flavor to the broth, mushy. Other members of our party were less critical than I was and quite enjoyed their meals. Except the eldest, who usually complains about all the food. :-) All in all, I feel like I should have sneaked in some seasoned salt to perk things up.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.5
- BBrianVIPWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe thouroghly enjoyed Graffiti. We started with the oydters and the Cavier Chips. We then shared an order of the mussels and they were so good. They are set in a base of miso, habanero, and white wine. I wondered...how good might it be to have sauteed mushrooms and spinach as the bed for the mussels. we will be back for them regardless!More infoGraffitiPrice: Moderate• American• Montrose•4.7
- NNicolaGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI adore Marmo. Always have a lovely experience whether it be for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. This is my go-to spot to bring guests when they come to Houston. My favorite dishes are the hamachi and the vodka rigatoni- also tried the New York strip last night and it was amazing. Christian was our server last night and he was lovely! There’s so many great restaurants in Houston that I don’t usually frequent any specific spots- Marmo is the exception. I always come back!More infoMarmoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Montrose•4.5
