Best Lunch Restaurants in Melrose Park

The quality is just exceptional and one of the most authentic taste. We had the calamari, spaghetti cacci pepe, and tiramisu, our entree was delivered by the chef which we truly appreciated. My toddler had the kids spaghetti and for a picky eater she loves it, along with her chocolate ice cream. Chef Marquez never disappoints.

We made a reservation, but decided we wanted to eat in the bar area. The owner is courteous and very customer service friendly and added us to the waitlist for a bar table. We didn't mind at all sitting at the bar.Ordered drinks and some shrimp cocktail. The food was excellent. We ordered the dover sole and salmon All excellent. Next time.. surf and turf. Love the neighborhood feeling with elevated service and food. Can't wait to go back. We used to live in the neighborhood and went here in the 80's. Even ran into some old friends Just love they kept this gem in Melrose and Tom is making plans to keep it going even better. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

Lunch experience was very good. Staff very attentive. Food tasty and good temperature. Wine of course was good. Recommended for a good overall experience.

Met with friends for late lunch. Nice quiet atmosphere with soothing music. Two of us ordered the short rib dinner and one ordered salmon. Portions were huge and meat was tender. Salmon done perfectly. For dessert we ordered cannoli and fig bread pudding. Both very good each came with a scoop of gelato. Ordered two regular coffees and wanted one decaf coffee. They did not have decaf nor decaf americano. It would be nice to have in the afternoon for those who can’t have caffeine. Overall experience very good and we will return.

Great experience. Had a work lunch and everything was great. Our waiter Curiel did a very nice job attending to everyone and answering questions.
