- IIvyLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMade a reservation here for our final meal on the island. Was told by multiple people that this is the best place to eat on the island. As a vegan I really appreciated the knowledge and help of our server Howard to accommodate me. My non-vegan family really enjoyed their meals too. Overall it was awesome. Pretty pricey but glad we got to try it.More infoMerriman's – Waimea – Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.9
- LLisaMarieVIPHawaii •49 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a late lunch for my husband’s birthday. Everything was stellar, yet again! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Put simply, the food is phenomenal, the service is too. We drive over an hour and a half, to come here for all our special occasions. Today we had the Warm Goat and Macadamia nut appetizer followed by Crab and Avocado salad (my favorite) and Shrimp and Crab Cajun pasta. Both excellent. Followed by the house made Piña Colada cake- which is a dreamy concoction of white chocolate mouse , coconut and pineapple chunks that tumble out of the cake. Thanks again for another great birthday!More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.7
- SSandyVIPChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 20245 of us went for a tour and tasting. The entire experience was delightful and educating. The Brewery is located inside the Hapuna Golf Club - there is no signage so just trust me. Turn into the golf club parking lot and you’ll find your way. The staff is charming. You’ll get an initial Sake tasting and the Master Brewer will take you on a tour. Sake has a rich history on the islands and of course, Japan. The tour is very interesting, lasts about 25’. We did the 5 Sake tasting. The pours were generous, the glassware gorgeous and the each Sake was distinct and delicious. They don’t import to the mainland yet but when they do, I’ll be a customer. I also now know how to look for, order and properly drink Sake. It’s worth your time to make visit the Islander Sake Brewery.More infoIslander Sake BreweryPrice: Expensive• Brewery• Kohala Coast•5
