I was disappointed that tge lamb had been pre-cut, as I prefer my lamb thinly cut. Actually having whole legs of lamb that are cut to order would be preferable. Even if it costs more. I had chicken instead, an enormous portion! Had to take a doggy bag home. Perhaps smaller portions could be available. Everything was delicious. I loved the salmon with pickled beetroots.

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰

Lovely and classic little village pub just between Stonehenge and Windsor castle. If you’re visiting both sites in the same day this is a great lunch spot.
