- JJaneAtlantic Canada •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was absolutely incredible. We had the cornbread as a starter and we’ll definitely be back for more. Our mains were done to perfection and the cheesecake for dessert was amazing. The drink menu is varied, with a lot of delicious options. Our server was prompt and engaging. The general ambiance was upbeat and casual, with a mix of people celebrating or just having a fun evening out. This was our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to our third!More infoSalt & Ash - HalifaxPrice: Moderate• Canadian• Halifax•4.5

- SSandraNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe love this restaurant. It is definitely the most sophisticated and interesting food we have found in the Maritimes. The pasta dishes are clever and beautifully prepared. The fish has always been exceptional. Great oysters and a complex wine list. Our favorites last night were the warm mushroom salad- so tasty and so complicated. The ravioli with braised cabbage was out of this world. A little heat from a chili oil, the crunch of the perfectly braised cabbage, the perfectly cooked pasta; it all came together beautifully. We will keep coming back. I would also urge people to realize that you are receiving very good value for your money here. There is a multi-course tasting menu for less than $100 or you can go ala carte. You can combine small plates and have an array of lovely bites rather than a massive main. We had four drinks and five plates between us, including oysters to start, and our bill, with tip, was under $200. To have food this well prepared, and exquisite service, for this price is a big win!More infoPeacock Wine BarPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Halifax•4.8

The appetizers were fresh and tasty. The pita pocket was good similar to a falafel. Meal was good as was company and service.More infoDaryaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Halifax•4.5
