Best Lunch Restaurants in Broad Chalke

Simply the best restaurant in Salisbury. Good choice of dishes, the beetroot and goat curd is to die for, and solid variation of wines and other drinks. This is tucked away above Costa Coffee on the Marketplace and if you blink you miss it! Definitely worth a try.

This has quickly become our favourite place to eat! Every visit feels like a special occasion, and we’re always greeted with such warm, attentive service. The decor is just stunning – charming, cosy, and full of character. The seasonal menu is always a treat, with new dishes to discover every time we visit, each one crafted with such care and bursting with flavour. We also love the beautiful gardens, you can pick your own bund of flowers to take away in the spring/ summer-time! And let's not forget the wonderful little shop, offering homemade condiments and delightful gifts – it’s the perfect place to pick up something special. I can’t recommend it highly enough – an all-around gem!

2 of us ordered the pumpkin soup which sadly came up cold! This was quickly rectified though. I didn’t like the flavour olive oil dribbled on the top which I felt drowned out the flavour of the soup although this wasn’t much to write home about. My daughter enjoyed hers. And the others enjoyed their starters. We were advised that given the offer I had if a diner spent £20 on their meal wine, beer and soft drinks were included. When the bill came the soft drink was charged for. Again this was sorted out but ….

Excellent welcome as we arrived, drinks order was taken before we had taken our coats off! A very tasty carvery, well served and a good variety of meats and vegetables. Have booked agin!
